Not risking out of state cam . I also phone and sounded like they were talking in a bathroom and once more did not sound very excited for me . Have no website only would give me information if I emailed! Yeah right!! This smelled like a big scam to me and wanted to know my age as well!! What more info would they need from my personal life? Please be aware I,m sure this is a Big bad scam!! I have not responded to these people!! I suggest u do the same. Hi I am in Australia and I received a text 2 days ago from 00335386331788 ( Ireland I think) saying ' your mobile number won 750,000GBP int the WorldMobile Promo. Claim code: WMP1. for claim email WMP0001@blumail.org. I guessed it was a scam but emailed them anyway. They Reckon Norwich Trust Bank is going to send me some money, thay have even set me up an account. Problem is, the address they gave is actually or the Royal Bank of Scotland, and Norwich trust bank do not exist. As if I wouldn't check them out first...IDIOTS!!!

Erm.
The BBC isn't profit making and is publically funded through a license system. Most of its funding comes from British license payers. It doesn't do non-specific "promotions" ( though they may well advertise a specific show or channel).
It is much too big to use any other email address than its own.
It wouldn't dream of sending out messages that were in anything less than good English, (Promo!!!! ) with correct spelling.
And no one (BBC or otherwise) puts "GBP" or "British Pounds" if they are genuinely from within Britain.
And NO ONE SENDS YOU MESSAGES TELLING YOU THAT YOU'VE WON A LOTTERY YOU DIDN'T ENTER, EVER.
I also receive this message yesternite saying my mobile no has won 500,000 pounds on BBC NATIONAL LOTTERY. I should send my details to mobileclaimsbbc@live.co.uk for claim information
