Hi I am having the same problem, asking about a body kit I am selling on ebay, mary george is trying to sweet talk me in to giving my paypal details over when I have already put the paypal link on ebay selling page so I understand how frustrated you are about this bank account thief. I have just had this email from this person regarding an item on ebay, do they think you are mental when you must have a paypal account already to sell on ebay and know you don't have to do this! They used this email address:

Thanks for your prompt e-mail, it was just exactly what i wanted and
can you assure me that i will not be disappointed buying this from
you. I am really interested in purchasing your ad. Am a Marine
Engineer and am offshore right now, I will appreciate if you can email
me with more picture of it as i won't be able to see this in person. I
would like you to answer this question about the item;I would have
call you but am sorry phone calls is restricted here on the offshore.

1. Are there any other issues with the item not mentioned on Ebay?

I will be glad if you can tell other interested buyers that the item
has been sold. I'm offering the exact price listed so please kindly
withdraw the ad from Craigslist Post. I will be paying via PayPal. I
can only pay through pay pal at the moment as i do not have access to
my bank account online, but i have it attached to my PayPal account,
and this is why i insisted on using PayPal to pay. If this is
acceptable, advice soon and if you don't have an account, you can
easily create an account fast and easy at I will need
you to provide the following information to facilitate the Payment

1.Your Registered PayPal Name and Registered PayPal Email Address.
2.Your address for pick up And Your Phone number for me to forward it
to the pick up agent for them to schedule time and date for the pick up.
3.Selling Price.

I'll be responsible for the pick-up and the pick up money will be
included in your payment to avoid delay and to enable pick up company
to schedule an appropriate time for the pick-up at your location
after funds has been received

Same problem here...
Idiotic ambiguous e-mail. discovered for what it was immediately, though here's the e-mail.

First e-mail was an "is this still for sale?"- in the e-mail signature for a buy it now item that had been listed the day before.
On my 'affirmative' response, this followed:
"Thanks for the quick response, can you assure me it's in good condition ??
,I need you to understand that I am willing and ready to purchase it right
away, put it off the AD site, consider me as your favorite buyer, I'm
seriously interested in buying this and due to the nature of my work, phone
calls making and visiting of website are restricted but i squeezed out time
to check this advert and send you an email regarding it.i would be glad to
pay for it as soon as possible though i will not be available to come for
an inspection due to my tight schedule.Kindly get back to me with the
following questions below:

1) What is the condition?
2) Are you the Owner?
3) Pick up Location?
4) Your PayPal Email ID to effect the payment

I would be glad to make the payment immediately through PayPal so kindly
get back to me with your PayPal ID. You need not to worry yourself about
title transfer and shipment,i will instruct the shipping company to handle
that therefore in order to complete the transaction do get back to me with
your PayPal ID and total cost so that I can make the payment asap. I will
be waiting for your reply!
Thanks and God bless"

Completely blatant, but may be useful for others.

Also, GMail added this e-mail address to my contacts and I noticed today that the 'Mary George' that sent the e-mail, has transformed into a "Kelly Smith" - in a matter of weeks.

So, also be wary of a "Kelly Smith"- using the same e-mail address: ""

Hope this proves useful
